Why is backing up onlne better than tape?
- Back up tapes save your data at the end of the day. Total Recall backs up online throughout the day so you never lose a whole day’s work.
- Back up tapes can be stolen or lost or corrupted. Total Recall securely encrypts your data before it is backed up to one of our two secure data centres.
- Back up tapes are useless if your server is not working. Total Recall allows you to access all your data or files plus your new email over the internet from your office, laptop or home.
- Back up tapes are over-written every few days or weeks. Total Recall allows you to recover files or data from the last 7 days plus any period you choose (typically 1 month, 3 months, 1 year, 7 years).
